High-voltage extension cables allow measurements of ignition pulses on engines where there is no or limited access to the spark plug leads (individual ignition coils, ignition coil modules).

Used in the following tests:

- Checking engine mechanics using a cylinder pressure sensor;
- A comprehensive check of the engine and its control system using the CSS script (test of uneven operation of the engine cylinders);
- Checking the DIS ignition coil module.

Before starting the engine, make sure that the electrical connections in the high-voltage circuit of the ignition system to which the adapter of the high-voltage extension cable / additional high-voltage wire / high-voltage arrester is connected are reliable, as well as that the spark gap is connected to the vehicle ground.
